These last three weeks have been crazy busy with Brads 30th birthday (we went to Cali, pics to come later)... School starting, ballet and football, and then Pypers Birthday. So I finally got 10 minutes to myself so I am posting pics from her Birthday, it was so much fun she got a Barbie car from us and I made her a Barbie cake (don't look to close to the pic it is not great) then we had friends over the girls were princesses and the boys were knights, we made crowns and shields then watched the new Barbie movie did a pinata and opened presents.. it was a lot of fun!!!
So this last week has been very wet!!!! We did however manage to get in some t-ball. It is so fun to watch Mackay play I love it. The clouds also lifted enough today to get in our first tennis match (rescheduled because of rain) yeah my team we won across the board!!!! Did I mention that I love tennis! Well Jaymie my little sis competes next for the title of Miss Idaho!!! So I will be in boise and Mia for awhile, but check back hopefully my next post will be with her and a huge crown!!! Goood luck SIS!
Pyper had her first ballet recital today she was so cute!!! It was so funny to see her with make up on she wouldn't stop looking in the mirror and telling me how pretty she looked with makeup!! It was so much fun to watch her and see how much she loved performing!!! I still remember my first recital, in Miss Vickys basement we did a dance to the nursery rhyme this little piggy I think, and then on the good ship lollipop, however that could have been Mistys song (it was 24 years ago). But the thing I remember most was that I got flowers after my recitals, so in tradition Pyper got pink roses and Gerber daisies, she was so excited... (I told her they were from Brad, since he was out of town and couldn't't see her... so she kept asking how her dad got these for her... I guess she doesn't know yet that moms make dads look good!) All in all it was a great day, thanks Aunt Jaymie and Nani and Mackay for coming with me!!!
So far May has proved crazy busy!!! Between graduation programs, birthdays, mothers day, ballet rehearsal, finishing the house, and Brad being gone i haven't had time to breathe let alone blog.... So here goes the last week. Thursday was Macks graduation he was so cute singing his songs.. Then Saturday I went to paint Macks and Pyps room before the carpet went down, a few stripes and half a wall color. So I was so excited to show brad when he got home, we walked into the room and I kicked over the can of paint... a big splash all over my beautifully stripped wall oh I was so sad.... I fixed it today. Well while I was painting my wonderful neighbors the Ericksens let my kids come over and play... They had theirs and my other neighbors the Kennedy's blow up water slides out and lets just say I didn't see them all day!! Thanks Wendy for the help!!! Then today was Pypers Graduation Mrs. Dogget had a clown come it was so cute!!! So here are a few quick pages I did.
My birthday is tomorrow (may 11th) and I am turning 29!!!! It is my last birthday no more after this one! We celebrated it today since it is on mothers day.. So Brad I and the kids went to mexican food my favorite! I got chicken mole and loved it... I defiantly want to learn how to make mole if anyone has a great recipe let me know. Then we went and played tennis.. Tennis Camp was amazing (i will blog about it later) so Brad wanted to see my new moves, I can say that camp was totally worth it as I served Brad his first loss to me, 6 games to 8 YEAH!!!!! Then we went for snow cones for dessert it was the greatest way to celebrate my birthday thanks honey!!!!
So i have been husband less for the last few weeks; so of course the kids got sick and now I am... I finally went to the doctor and he said my "cold" had turned into a sinus infection and I had gunk in my lungs this can't happen because for my 29t birthday some of my girlfriends and I are going to St. George to a tennis camp, spa day, food, movies and no kids........ SO i went to the doc today and they injected me with steroids and antibiotics.... and I am getting another round tomorrow so sorry I have been missing! I will be MIA this week too, hopefully better and playing tennis.. I will post pics when I get back.
So lately Brad has been traveling a lot so I get to bring out my chef side when he is gone... He is strictly a meat and potato man, he dislikes all other veggies and won't eat sauce except Alfredo??? However my children love to try new things... They eat salmon, broccoli, asparagus, salad's, whatever you put in front of them they eat... except Pyper she won't eat mac and cheese (I know crazy right). So the kids and I went to the store to make a special meal for Brads' homecoming, and I let them pick the food.. We had steak and artichokes.. they cleaned their plates and even brad liked the artichokes!!! I guess I can add one more veggie to his repertoire. So here are some picks in case you don't believe that a 6 and 4 year old will really eat that stuff!
